When we think of the word "science", we think it is about something that only scientists do. It may not be for the rest of us. It is not what scientist do, it is what they seek. The word "science" comes from the Latin word scientia and it means "knowledge". We all seek knowledge. So I guess, at some level, this makes us all scientists.

So, anytime we see or hear the word "science" we can replace it with the word "knowledge". Earth Science becomes Earth Knowledge, Nuclear Science - Nuclear Knowledge, Medical Science - Medical Knowledge . . . and so on.

The most important science is the knowledge of how to live a satisfying and healthy life. All other sciences may feed and support our knowledge of how to live well.
